Stories to tell
In a world shaped by motion, we chose stillness.
Each image in this collection was captured using the wet plate collodion process — a 19th-century photographic method that transforms light, chemistry, and silver into something permanent. No retouching, no shortcuts. Just patience, precision, and presence.
Our surf bikinis are crafted with the same intention. Designed for high performance in the water, made from regenerated materials like ECONYL®, and built to last far beyond trends or tides.
This is where ocean meets alchemy — where sustainable design collides with an ancient photographic ritual. Where modern surf culture is frozen in time through handcrafted images, and every frame holds both the strength of the sea and the soul of slow creation.
Photographed by the artist Roman Dachsel, a photographer from Hamburg who focusses on creating images through the wet plate process, an image that is made for forever yet so fragile in its form, a uniqueness that cannot be replicated
we wanted to create something new, a lookbook that has never been made before.
In a time where pictures are overflowing our feeds and we only spend seconds to look, maybe not even noticing the picture or the art behind it. Our lookbook is made intentional and different from anything in our feeds, to stop the meaningless scrolling and stand still for a bit, the same way our models did for the picture.
One picture, raw authenticity, slowing down and seeing beauty in the imperfection is an art fomr. The Lookbook becomes an artifact, not just a publication - something that feels made by hand not mass-produced, like our products.
Its a vision we have for our bikinis, the prints are timeless, designed by natures picture, an image that will always be in style.
In a world that rewards speed, this work chooses slowness.
Every plate is a moment lived fully, not captured in haste.
